You Belong
We are transformed when we first understand that we BELONG. We are all born with the need to belong. Jesus’ disciples belonged before they believed. Belonging removes shame and convinces our heart that we are worthy. Zacchaeus climbed a fig tree and Adam and Eve tried to cover their nakedness with fig leaves. But Jesus called Zacchaeus by name. Out of all the places He could have stayed, He wanted to stay with Zacchaeus. Immediately, Zacchaeus went from hoping to get a glimpse of Jesus to hosting Jesus! Belonging takes us from hidden in shame to hosts of God’s presence. Because we see the power of belonging, it’s one of our most important values. Values create environments and our belonging value creates an environment of joy, honor, freedom and courage.

Chances are if you are new to Bethesda you have already met our beloved, friendly and loving Belong pastor, Fa’Lisha! She has such a heart of a mother for all people, and she will not hesitate to give you a warm hug and find you a seat for service! Fa’Lisha and her team are here to help you get connected and find your tribe to grow and thrive as a part of our family!

Yes, we provide lunch for all registrants. We try to choose menus that are as allergy friendly as possible, but not all accommodations might be available, so please plan accordingly.

Yes, we do offer childcare. Please indicate any childcare care needs you have at the time of registration.

We strive to start serving lunch promptly at 12:30pm following the Sunday service, and allow for community time as we enjoy a meal together. The class time will start at 1pm and typically go until about 2:30pm.

We provide a Belong packet, which includes information about our staff and leadership, our core values, beliefs and mission, as well as a basic rundown of our ministries and departments. You will have the opportunity to meet some of ministry leaders, pastors, and overseers in person to ask questions and more info. You will also have an opportunity to get connected in the areas you are most interested in as well as sign up to join one of teams through serving.
Every class is unique to how the Holy Spirit desires to move in each group. Sometimes we will break out into a prophetic activation time, and other times we will use group activations to allow you to get to know others at your table. We allow the Holy Spirit to set the agenda for each class and you can expect to leave feeling blessed.
